Presidents Message October 2025
Greetings fellow V8er’s. As of this writing, fall is upon us! Time for bon fires, fall colors and all things pumpkin. Unpack your sweaters and check for moths, the evenings are about to be cool. That being said, our beloved flatheads love the cooler temperatures, so my 53 will see the road on sunny days. August provided a limited event calendar. September gave NORG members a chance for fellowship at a number of outings. First of the two car shows was the Regina Health on the 3rd, and the Molto Bella on the 14th, at Hale Farm and Village that had some of the best cars in Northeastern Ohio. This is a must-see show. Several members attended both shows and reported fantastic examples of exotic and classic cars. Also, in September was NORG’s annual Corn Roast in conjunction with the Nifty Fifties. Twenty-one members feasted on fresh corn, hot dogs, brats and a never-ending desert table. Special thanks to Ron and Karen Mihalek for allowing the use of the farm and all its charm for this storied event. I personally want to thank everyone who pitched in to help with a wonderful afternoon. In closing, October will not disappoint as it has more to offer in outings. NORG, invited by The Nifty-Fifties, has the Fall Tour that is always fun. The Bucket of Beans car show, on the 12th, marks the end of show season. Don’t miss it. Find info in the newsletter on both. I hope you are all having good health and I will see you on the road in a V8 Ford!

Ps. Good news!!! It has been brought to my attention that The EFV8CA WILL have a Eastern National Meet in 2026! The location is Princeton New Jersey, taking place on September 20th thru the 24th. Regional Group #38 has asked for any interest in the meet. Planning has just begun, and they are asking the RG presidents for a number of interested members. At the October club meeting I will be asking for a number to report to RG 38.
