NORG MAY LUNCH OUTING ~ 11:00 AM Saturday May 26 2018
Our lunch outing for April was held at the Winking Lizard restaurant in Copley Township (Fairlawn),
which is a very popular spot for west Akron. Twenty NORGers and friends showed u p and enjoyed the
casual atmosphere and good food. We pretty much fil led the "back room" of the restaurant and had an
almost private party .
Our outing for May will be held on Saturday, May
25, at Austi n's Woodfire Grill located at 8121 Chippewa
Road (Route 82), Brecksvi lle, Ohio 44141-2011. The
phone number is 440-546-1003. Plan to arriv e at 11:00
a.m. The restaurant is located in the Creekside Commons
shopping area and can be a bit of a challenge to
find because it is not visible from Chippewa Road. As
you probably remember, earlier this year we visited Simon's
Restaurant, which also is located in a s hopping
area on Chippewa Road. The Creekside Commons
shopping a rea is directly across the road from where Simon's
is located. Does t hat make sense? I hope so.
When you enter Creekside Commons, go strai ght until
you can turn left and then turn left (naturally). Austin's Woodfire Grill is located at the end of a row of
shops and has a larg e parking lot in front of and to the side of the restaurant. Come hungry an d full of
stories about your car!
Unfortunately (for me), I wil l not be able to attend this outing. No, I am not getting another haircut!< /p>
Momoe has decided to take me to Japan with her this year, as she need s someone to carry the suitcases,
so I will be out of the country whe n all of you are enjoying fine dining at Austin's. Bone Appetite, or someth ing
like that! Frank and Ginger Posar will see to it that everything goes smoothly. Enjoy!
